South Elementary McTeachers take over McDonald's

Des Plaines - March 20, teachers and staff of South Elementary School took over the Des Plaines McDonald's on Oakton.  The school utilized this opportunity to raise money for their "All School Spring Event".  A variety of teachers participated in McTeacher's Night where they worked at the drive-thru, greeted customers, kept the lobby clean and took orders from their students.  South School McTeachers had a blast serving their students.  A big thank you to Sue Biggs; Health Clerk at Sout Elementary, for coordinating the entire event.

Ronald McDonald's visit helped make this evening more memorable. His appearance is courtesy of the local Des Plaines McDonald's ower/operator, Michael Schenk.  For more local McDonald's events at the Des Plaines location, visit their website at www.mcillinois.com/1000 or contact their Community Relations Director, Julie Travers at julie.travers@comcast.net
