Andy Fisher Is Looking For A Living Kidney Donor
Andy has been on the waiting list for a cadaver kidney for 2 years, but the list is almost 8 years long, and he won't live 6 more years.

Andy Fisher doesn't have a very long story, he has a very short story: he needs a kidney from a living donor.
Andy stays busy since he goes to dialysis three times a week and also volunteers at his mother’s nursing home with his therapy dog, Wylie, but in his spare time he works on getting a living kidney donor. Sometimes he walks around - and sometimes he drives around - with advertising that says: "Hello, my name is Andy Fisher and I need a kidney - any blood type - please call 847-371-1966." Recently he has been spotted in Arlington Heights, Des Plaines, and Schaumburg at Woodfield Mall.
Andy is on two cadaver donor lists at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago and University of Wisconsin in Madison, but the wait time is estimated at almost eight years. He has already been on the cadaver donor lists for two years, but his doctors tell him that he is not likely to survive another six years - unless he receives a living donor kidney.

His blood type is O+, but Andy says that any blood type will help and details are at www.facebook.com/findakidneyforandy, or af847@hotmail.com. Andy and his family - including his dog, Wylie - are hoping for a miracle in the near future.
