Audition for Oakton’s OMG Improv Sept. 5

Comedians and comic actors are invited to audition for OMG Improv Players, Oakton 's wild and hilarious improvisation troupe.

Calling all comedians and comic actors! Audition for OMG Improv Players, Oakton Community College’s wild and hilarious improvisation troupe, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, in Room 1829, at the college’s Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road. No appointment necessary. Candidates should come prepared to improvise scenes.

Players will perform at Oakton as well as regional competitions.

David Nadolski, a Second City Conservatory graduate, founded the ensemble in 2011. OMG has appeared at Oakton as well as Comedy Sportz in Chicago, the Laughing Chameleon in Glen Ellyn and the Laugh Out Loud Theater in Schaumburg.

“Improv is one of the hardest forms of entertainment, as performers have to make up a comedic scene on the spot," said Nadolski. “However, this is an opportunity for people to learn the art of unscripted acting and also perform at regional competitions.”
