Actors of all skill levels and ethnicities are encouraged to attend open calls for Oakton Community College’s production of the 1984 Pulitzer Prize winning play “Glengarry Glen Ross.” Auditions are scheduled 6-9 p.m. Monday, April 8 and Tuesday, April 9, at the college’s Studio One Theater, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines.
Prepared monologues and cold readings will be heard for the staged reading. No appointment necessary.
A scalding comedy, “Glengarry Glen Ross” took Broadway and London by storm. Penned by David Mamet, the play focuses on cutthroat real estate salesman trying to grind out a living by pushing plots of land on reluctant buyers in their scramble for a share of the American Dream.
