The Oakton Educational Foundation raised more than $7,000 by recently hosting the Chicago Bar Association's 93rd Annual Holiday Spirits Revu

The Chicago Bar Association’s 93rd Annual Holiday Spirits Revue on Jan. 28 raised in excess of $7,000 for Oakton Community College Educational Foundation’s Annual Fund, which supports student scholarships and other student-success initiatives. More than 200 guests attended “This Case Is a Shamilton,” a lampoon of celebrities in politics, sports and show business by Chicago’s best legal minds, at the college’s Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road.
The Bar Revue is a time honored celebration where local lawyers use their talents beyond the courtroom to give back to the community.
“The Educational Foundation expresses its sincere thanks to the Chicago Bar Association and the community audience members for making this event a success,” said Oakton Manager of Development and Alumni Relations Elena Couto. “As public funding evaporates, we deeply appreciate the generosity of individuals, organizations, and corporations who help support student success at the college.”
