Chicago man Donate Ration Kit in Hyderabad during pandemic

Urdu Samaj of Chicago & United Interfaith Community Services host a recognition Program on Sunday October 18, at Royal Palace Naperville

During nationwide lockdown in India. A Chicago Businessman provides around 500 ration kits and special relief daily to the needy families in Hyderabad, India.

Syed Wasif Ullah Quadri, resident of Kishan Bagh distributing ration kits among the poor since the lockdown started in the city on March 25th, 2020.Syed Wasif Ullah Quadri prepared relief packages that were distributed across the State. He prepared packets of food and other utility items for the families. Every kit is made for families of six and will last for 30 days. Ration kits distributed to everyone regardless for their religion and raise. Overall, He distributed over 10,000 ration kits during lock down.

During the Distribution Quadri had been taking necessary hygiene precautions by wearing gloves and face masks and using hand sanitizers.

Later evening a cake cutting ceremony was held in the same program to Celebrate the Birthday of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan. (Who was an educator, jurist and author, founder of the Anglo-Mohammedan Oriental College) Born on Oct. 17, 1817. The Founder and President of Urdu Samaj of Chicago Mr. Ali Khan invited Dr. Faiz Ahmed Sheikh founder and president of Progressive High School to Cut his Birthday Cake.

The event was attended by renown community members including Saleem AR, Dr. Fawwad Ahmed, Syed Hussaini, Mumtaz Khan, Syed Eraj Ahmed, Onkar Singh Sangha, Dr. Faiz Ahmed Sheikh and others

The Team of Urdu Samaj of Chicago consist of Ali Khan President & Founder, Syed Hussaini Senior Advisor, Emaad Sheikh Executive Vice President, Saleem AR Advisory member, Onkar Sangha Advisory member, Eraj Ahmed Vice President, Mumtaz Ali Khan Board member, Syed Khalil Ullah Board member.
