Chicago Muslim Medical Alliance Salutes Healthcare Heroes in Dinner

Chicago Muslim Medical Alliance (CMMA) held its Annual Ramadan Solidarity Iftar on Thursday, April 14th, 2022, at Shalimar Banquets, and physicians from all over Chicagoland came to attend the Historical event. The event was partnered with the Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago. The Chicago Muslim Medical Alliance (CMMA), the largest network of Muslim physicians in Illinois.

During the event CMMA recognize, thank, and commend all health care workers and public health employees throughout the Chicago area for their tireless efforts to provide the best possible care for our residents during the COVID-19 pandemic, despite extremely difficult conditions and personal risk to themselves. Several Health care workers Received awards.

The event was attended by many Elected officials, Community leaders and community members from all walks of life. Dr. Tajammul Hussain is the President of CMMA and has done great social and charity work in Chicagoland for many years. Around 500 guests attend the event at the Shalimar Banquet in Addison.

President, Dr. Tajammul Hussain (CMMA) said, “I am Saluting healthcare workers who risk their lives to protect citizens are unforgettable During the time of Covid Pandemic.”

Consul General of Pakistan Mr. Tariq Kareem said Appreciating the leading role of the medical community in the Corona epidemic. All doctors and healthcare staff are our heroes.
