Decomposing Body Pulled From Pond In Des Plaines: Report
The body was discovered near the Illinois State Police Troop 3 headquarters, according to reports.
DES PLAINES, IL — A decomposing body was pulled out of a pond Monday near the Illinois State Police Troop 3 headquarters in unincorporated Des Plaines.
CBS Chicago is reporting the body was found at around 12:20 p.m. in a retention pond at 9411 Harrison St., which is located northwest of the ISP parking lot. The North Maine Fire Protection District confirmed this report.
Due to the body decomposing, officials have not been able to determine the body's age or gender, according to the media outlet.
