Des Plaines Flooding From 2013: Flashback Friday

Take a look back at photos from 2013, when flood waters took over much of Des Plaines.

DES PLAINES, IL — While rain could be in the forecast from Sunday through next Wednesday in Des Plaines, it's highly unlikely that the totals were come anywhere close to what the city experienced back in April of 2013. That's when local officials declared a state of emergency, schools were closed and sand bags were used in many parts of town to help alleviate the flooding issues caused by a major rainfall.

Take a look back at these photos from the time. ALSO: More Des Plaines 2013 Flooding Photos From Patch
