Des Plaines Garden Club April 9th. Meeting

“Mad Hatters Tea Party!” is the theme for the Des Plaines Garden Club’s April 9th. meeting which is held at the Frisbie Senior Center, 52 E. Northwest Hwy., Des Plaines, IL.  Beginning at 11 a.m. we will have a High Tea pot luck luncheon.  Members are asked to bring a favorite item to share.  Wear your best hat or make a special one.  Prizes will be awarded for 1st. & 2nd. place winners!  “A Summer Wonderland” slides presentation of Rich & Lana Gernadys’ garden will be shown as we enjoy our lunch.  At our meeting beginning at 12:00 p.m. we will induct our new Officers followed by our program “A Birdfeeder for Wonderland” at 1:00 p.m.  Donna Erickson will help us make a Tea cup/saucer Birdfeeder for our yard.  Materials supplied by club, cost $5.00  Interested in becoming a member, please join us or visit our website www.desplainesgardenclub.com  email desplainesgardenclub@yahoocom and Face book Des Plaines Garden Club
