The Des Plaines Garden Club will hold their December 11th meeting at the Frisbie Senior Center 52 E. Northwest Hwy., Des Plaines IL. beginning at 11:00 a.m. Bring a sandwich and our hostesses will provide treats. Meeting begins at 12:00 p.m. and our Horticulturist, Bob will discuss “Plants that Repel Insects.” At 1:00 p.m. the program begins. “Decorating with Holiday Cheer’” presented by Donna Erickson, our “Fun with Flowers” Chairperson, will help us design and make an arrangement for home or as a gift, Cost is $8.00.
