Des Plaines Gas Station Sells $750,000 Lottery Ticket

If you bought a Lucky Day Lotto ticket in Des Plaines recently, you may want to check it right away! A Des Plaines gas station sold a $750,000 winning ticket for last night’s Lucky Day Lotto drawing.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Mobil, 9660 Golf Road, and matched all five numbers – 03 - 07 - 18 - 20 - 24 – to win $750,000 in the Tuesday, December 15, evening drawing. The retailer will receive a bonus of $7,500, 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling a winning ticket.

The Illinois Lottery urges the lucky winner to immediately sign the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield and Fairview Heights. Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.
