Des Plaines Park District Hires Todd Lehky as Business Manager

The Des Plaines Park District has announced the hiring of Todd Lehky as its new Business Manager. Lehky, who has a BA in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University, had been working on national accounts at a Public Accounting firm in downtown Chicago, and specialized in tax-exempt companies. In his new position, Lehky oversees a four-person department that handles all of the payables and receivables; the revenue from park district programs, events, and facilities, including the Golf Center Des Plaines and Mystic Waters; and program registrations at the Leisure Center. Lehky reports directly to Superintendent of Business, Katie Skibbe.

“I’m looking forward to working in a place where I can see that I’m making a real difference in people’s lives, every day,” Lehky said. “That’s the most significant change from my previous jobs, and it just feels right for me.”

“Todd’s got the right combination of first-rate skills and a great attitude for this park district,” said Skibbe, “and we’re glad he’s here.”
