The Des Plaines Park District is hosting a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament and 3-Point Contest at Prairie Lakes June 3 and 4.
The Des Plaines Park District is hosting a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament and 3-Point Contest at Prairie Lakes Community Center June 3 and 4.
The tournament, which features brackets ranging from 8-10 years old up to 40+ years old, is comprised of teams of up to five players with a double elimination format. The tournament games and 3-Point Contest will take place June 3 and 4 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The deadline to register for the tournament is May 29 at 5 p.m.
“There are a lot of passionate basketball fans around Des Plaines,” Recreation Supervisor Joshua Cantres said. “To be able to give them a platform to compete and have fun makes us real excited to host a tournament like this.”
