Woman Startled By Naked Man 

A family in the 2200 block of South Craig Drive called police June 8 just after 1:20 p.m. to report that a 29-year-old female member of the family was in the yard when a male voice called “hey.”

When she turned around to respond, she saw a naked white male in his forties on the other side of the fence, according to the report. The woman screamed and ran into the house.

Police went to the home of the yard in which the offender had been standing, but no one answered the door. They found a 12-pack of cold beer where the victim said the offender was standing, the report indicated.

Man charged with False 911 Call Wanted a Place to Sleep

Police responded June 9 to the 2000 block of South Pine Street at 1:15 a.m. for a call saying a Joseph Sykes had fallen and broken his arm and vomited blood. When police arrived, they found Sykes on a sidewalk in front of his home. Sykes said that he had not vomited blood and was not injured, but was looking for a place to sleep.

Thieves Ransacked Three Cars

Between June 6 and 7, residents of three homes on the 300 block of South Woodbridge Road told police thieves had entered their vehicles, which were parked outdoors, and ransacked them, according to the report, but nothing appeared to have been taken.

One woman left her wallet in the center console, but said it was still there and nothing was missing from it. The car door was left ajar. Another woman said items in her back and front seats were disturbed, but the thief left a $5 bill which had been in the car.
