Des Plaines Seeks Stop Light For Lee-Forest

The Journal and Topics is reporting that the city is once again seeking a stop sign at Lee and Forest.

The city of Des Plaines is again going to the Illinois Department of Transportation in an attempt to get a stop light at Lee and Forest, the Journal and Topics reported.

The newspaper reported that previous attempts by the city were rejected by the state because there was not enough traffic to justify a stop sign. However, city officials believe they have data supporting the need for a stop sign at the intersection.
