Ed Beauvais well qualified candidates for Maine Township Highway

A former Maine Township code enforcement officer Edward Beauvais is a longtime Maine Township and Des Plaines resident. He is one of two candidates running for Maine Township Highway Commissioner.

Time for A Big Change in Maine Township Government. My Plan will be bringing the recognizable, evaluate, and correct issues and opportunity in the township future, which is important to Community, he said during an Interview. “During the past year I performed listening throughout every sector of Maine Township. I met with a significant number of residents, religious leaders, civic leaders, business owners, elected officials who have given me a broader and detailed perspective of the challenges facing the township.”

“I have volunteered and served the community for over 15 years. I have been a flood cleanup volunteer. As a past of Maine Township representative, during that time I helped to create the Future Leaders/Big Brothers Big Sisters program in collaboration with the Des Plaines Youth Commission and the Des Plaines Park District. I also participated in Maine Township Youth Mentoring, the Park Ridge/Des Plaines Peer Jury Partnership, and has served as a Liaison to the neighborhood watch in partnership with The Cook County Sheriff’s Department and the North Maine Fire Department. ” Ed continued.

Ed feels, “As Highway Commissioner, I will work hard toward obtaining additional grant funding to assist flood-prone areas in Maine Township, labor to ease congested street parking on neighborhood streets, improve road infrastructure and raise the quality of life with beautification projects.”

Many residents believe he is a well-qualified and emerging leading candidate for the Maine Township Highway Commissioner position. If he is elected, He will bring his new vision, strategy and Possess Strong People Skills to Maine Township.
