More than 200 mosques and centers in the Chicago region hosted Eid prayers, but this year's prayers were held in protest of the thousands of Muslims—including defenseless children—who died as a result of Israeli brutality and aggression in Gaza, Palestine, and Iran, which lasted almost two years and destroyed hundreds of buildings and settlements. The local imams and community leaders have decided that a large place should be used for this Eid gathering and prayers.
As a result, a sizable complex called Seat Geet Stadium was selected. It was Chicago's largest-ever Eid celebration, with an estimated 20,000 adherents in attendance. The greatest event, the Eid prayers at Seat Geet Bridgeview Stadium, drew over 20,000 people each year.

Takbeerat was to begin at 9:30, while the Eid prayer was to begin at 10:30. But Takbeerat started on Eid, and people started showing up before 9:00. At Eid Takbeerat, children of Tawheed loudly proclaim Allah's greatness and glory.
