Enroll in Oakton piano and music literature courses
Oakton is offering a variety of piano classes this fall.

Known as the “king of instruments” the piano is a keyboard, a percussion instrument, and a stringed instrument. And with modern electronic keyboards, it can also be practiced without adding a major piece of furniture to your home. Learn piano this fall by enrolling in a variety of 16-week piano classes available at Oakton Community College’s Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road.
Courses include private lessons, group piano classes and piano ensemble for students of all proficiencies.
Students can even get in tune with the musical past by registering for Music Literature and History (MUS 236), a 16-week course that examines the development of music in the Western world from its origins to the present. The course focuses on musical styles, literature, and concepts from different periods.
