
7-Eleven stores will celebrate their only 7-11-11 birthday this century with free Slurpee drinks.
To commemorate 7-Eleven’s 84th birthday July 11, also known as 7-Eleven Day, participating 7-Eleven stores in the Chicago area and across the nation will celebrate by giving customers a free 7.11 ounce Slurpee beverage.
With the theme “Our Birthday – Your Bash,” participating 7-Eleven stores will thank customers for their patronage and support by offering a free Slurpee in a cup specially designed for this day, while supplies last.

7-Eleven, the world’s premier convenience retailer, has been giving away free Slurpees since the company’s 75th birthday in 2002. The Slurpee’s been around since 1967 and the frozen, carbonated beverage was named for the straw’s slurping sound.
