An exciting, in-depth safety class! This two-session class gives confidence to novices, and is a good refresher for experienced boaters. Topics include: introduction to boating; boating laws; safety equipment; safe boating; and navigation. Illinois requires a class like this for personal watercraft operators between the ages of 15 and 18. Upon passing the test, participants receive a certificate of completion. Many insurance companies offer discounts on boat insurance to those who successfully complete About Boating Safely. All materials are provided. Course meets on successive Saturdays.
