Adult Trip to Atwood Environmental Center, Rockford, IL,

Atwood Environmental Center is located at the historic site of Camp Grant, operational during both World Wars. It encompasses 334 acres of woodland, prairie, river, and marsh habitat. It is home to the Birds of Prey program, with owls, hawks, and bald eagles in residence for visitors to enjoy. Buffet lunch is included at the Command Post Restaurant, home of the Grant Museum, preserving the war time history of Camp Grant. Our final stop is one of  the Rockford area’s  apple orchards. Pick your own apples and pumpkins, and purchase fall items at the Orchard Store. Come and enjoy a full day of fall activities! Trip departs from and returns to the Lake Park Clubhouse.
