Hawthorn Woods is a small town in Lake County, Illinois, Basically The village is predominantly a residential community where Majority of 80 percent of Population holding bachelor’s Degree or higher.
Servant Leader Farah Laman Running for Hawthorn Woods Trustee Position. She is a very recognizable face in the Hawthorn Woods Community for Social service and Civic involvement. The longtime Illinois resident, who is running on a Democratic party platform. Currently she is running for Trustee Position. She is very active in Hawthorn Woods in Bloom Committee, where she attends meeting regularly.
During an interview with Farah Laman. She said, "I have volunteered and served the community for over 15 years in several areas in lake county. I have led a life of service to my Town and community. If I Elected, I will bring my experience and the best skills to the Township board, including finance, budgeting, planning and community engagement."

Mrs. Laman continued, I emphasized various beliefs. I want to be a compassionate to bring American values of equality and dignity. My main goal and responsibility are to provide best service to township people. I am an actual leader who helped everyone and brought out the best in everyone.”
Laman further said "I will work to find creative solutions as a trustee. I will provide funding best solutions for Village affairs and I will work to build strong partnerships with Village officials and community stakeholders. I will promote small Business in town where we can create more revenue for town. That kind of fund we can use for Environment protection. I want Hawthorn Woods is truly the perfect place for families who want to get away from the crowded cities. As an IT Personal, I would like to make Hawthorn Woods SMART community in state."

Laman feels “I am real servant leaders feel for their people and community and don't turn a blind eye toward to problems and issues. I always work hard to resolve those issues by fulfilling the needs and wants of the community.”
