Footlighters Theatre Company Auditions for Tarzan

Footlighters Theatre Company is casting actors, singers, and dancers, ages five to adult, for their summer musical production of Tarzan. Auditions will be held on Sunday, May 4: children ages 5-15 from 1:00-2:30pm, teens and adults from 2:30-4:00pm; on Tuesday, May 6: children ages 5-15 from 5:00-7:00pm, teens and adults from 7:00am-9:00pm and on Monday May 12, 6:30-8:30pm. Callbacks are scheduled on Thursday, May 8, at 7:00pm.

Auditions are held at Prairie Lakes Community Center, 515 E. Thacker Street. Those interested should be prepared to sing at least 32 bars of a song that best shows their vocal range. An accompanist is provided; pre-recorded instrumental tracks are also acceptable. Scripts will be provided for a brief read after singing, with more in-depth reads at callbacks. The dance portion

of the auditions will also take place at callbacks. Please bring a recent headshot. Strong singers are needed, especially pop/rock style and classically trained voices. There are six male role leads, two female leads and two roles for two young boys between the ages of 8-12. If cast, participation fee of $75 will apply which includes cast
t-shirt, cast photo, opening night party, strike party, and two complimentary tickets to each Thursday evening performance.

Rehearsals are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6:30–9:30pm beginning Tuesday, May 13. The show runs July 24–August 3: Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays at 8:00pm; Sundays at 2:00pm.
