Fundraiser for improving quality of education in Pakistan

A nonprofit organization United We REACH (UWR) hosted a huge fundraising event and Gala on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at the beautiful Shalimar Banquets in Addison. The series fundraising event, which has plans for major US cities for United We REACH organization's major fundraising event, which had record-breaking attendance in Chicagoland. The purpose and Aim of the event were to raise funds to spread better education revolution throughout everywhere in Pakistan.
The purpose of the event was also to generate funds for improved quality of education & expand learning opportunities for children in socio-economically stressed demographics. UWR engage with existing educational institutions in Pakistan to provide educational opportunities to children in unserved and underserved communities. With a focus on equity, literacy, accountability and adaptability, we have developed a technology that can train anybody with Basic English fluency to become a competent teacher of customized curriculum The Organization believed Education Changes Everything. The evening was packed with great food, entertainment and fundraising activities. The Chief Guest of the event was Dr. Murad Raas, Minister for Education (Government of Punjab) and the Guest of Honor was Mr. Javed Ahmed Umrani (Consul-General, Pakistan, Chicago). The event was emceed by Goodwill Ambassador, UWR Mr. Waqar Ali Khan and re known Dr. Tariq Butt
In the presence of the classical musical maestro, Rafaqat Ali Khan and hosted by the legends of the Pakistani media industry, Nauman Ijaz and Atiqa Odho. The Chief Guest for the Fundraiser, Dr. Murad Raas talked about his vision of Naya Aazam and its partnership with United We REACH to transform public education in Punjab.
Mrs. Sabahat Rafiq (CEO & Chairperson, UWR) gave a detailed presentation on the impact of United We REACH, and the extent of its massive achievements in its short history, and the bright future ahead. She also said “Pakistan’s education system suffers from inequality. The challenge facing our organization is working to combine cutting-edge technology with modern pedagogy, thereby providing an effective and scalable method of providing quality education in several cities in Pakistan. Our team and organization provide scripted lessons to teachers through a tablet-based delivery system, allowing us to ensure that every lesson in every UW R-affiliated school is taught the same. This ensures that all students are given an equal opportunity for success.
Dr. Naveed Sherwani (Vice Chairman, UWR) spoke about the great potential for education technology in revolutionizing the education sector in Pakistan, and the promising future which lies ahead for Pakistani students in today's globalized world. He further said that UWR is a non-profit organization engaged in creating fully scripted lesson plans delivered through tablets provided to the teachers. We also gather, collate and curate data through our digital labs installed in each school to use Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence to prescribe and administer educational interventions in each child to ensure ‘no child left behind’ in terms of measurable educational outcomes. It is a sophisticated, comprehensive Big Data solution centered on Artificial & Augmented Intelligence (AI) based predictive analytics. All software development, data analytics and all the work are being carried out in-house in, Pakistan and network.
Consul General of Pakistan, Chicago Mr. Javed Ahmed Umrani also gave a short speech on event He appreciated all the work United We REACH (UWR) doing education efforts for good quality education in Pakistan.
At the end, a scrumptious dinner and an elaborate dessert were served to all. The event was Live Broadcast several News Channels and media from Chicago.
