Nuzhat Chalissa, the former chair of the Human Development Foundation, gave an overview of the organization and, using data from statistics, showed the audience how important it is for them to support HDF USA in order for it to succeed. She provides the audience with explanations during her power point show.

"The Human Development Foundation was launched by a group of visionary Pakistani Americans in 1997 as a gift to Pakistan on its 50th anniversary of its Independence," stated Dr. Samina Hijab, Chairperson of the HDF. With a perfect score of 100%, this charity has a Four-Star rating. Giving with confidence is possible if this organization shares your interests and ideals.
She went on, "We're here today to reaffirm their dedication to Pakistan's important cause of human development. Our common objective is to establish a Pakistan where all people may realize their own potential, poverty is eliminated, and prosperity is shared equitably. HDF feels that no child, especially a gifted one, should be forced to stop their education because of financial difficulties. Nothing should prevent students from receiving an education because it is a fundamental human right. Financial constraints are, nevertheless, one of the most important issues that can cause children to drop out of school. HDF Regards Scholarships are merit-based financial aid available to worthy and talented students in Pakistan so they can pursue their academic objectives and have a positive impact on the socioeconomic advancement of the community. HDF acknowledges students with extraordinary quality, achievement, and promise for their potential and offers financial aid to help them take advantage of opportunities they might not otherwise have. By the Scholarship program, HDF also hopes to cultivate a competitive, healthy learning atmosphere and instill a strong sense of confidence in the students. The Human Development Foundation (HDF) and the Applied Technical and Vocational Training Institutes (ATINS) of NLC, she adds, are striving to empower the youth and lessen poverty and high unemployment rates in Pakistan.
