INDISTRY TV Hosts Screening of Film by Kyle Prater
NFLer-Turned-Director Kyle Prate Showcases "Shifting Gears II" and Supports the What's Your Forte Foundation

Chicagoan Kyle Prater is 26-years old and already an inspiration to the many athletes he coaches at Maine West High School. While he’s admired as a former NFL player who once played for the New Orleans Saints, it’s his “off the field” transition into a new-found passion of filmmaking that is taking him to new heights.
INDISTRY TV, a first-of-its kind subscription streaming service, will host a special screening of “Shifting Gears II,” on Thursday, February 7that 7:00 p.m. at ArcLight Cinemas Chicago in NewCity (1500 N Clybourn Ave). The 20-minute film, which is directed and produced by Prater, follows his journey of “life after football” and how filmmaking, giving back to the community and coaching has become a motivating force in his life. A Q&A with Prater and former Chicago Bear Matt Forte (also in the film) will follow in addition to a VIP reception that will benefit the What’s Your Forte Foundation.
“Shifting Gears II”is inspirational, motivating and most importantly informational for all athletes who may find themselves in a similar position in their lives. This film embodies truth and showcases that everyone has internal battles to fight. Transitioning from something you’ve done your entire life is hard but even more challenging is wearing a mask while doing it. That mask is eventually revealed, and a legend is born.
