McFun for Orchard Place McTeacher's

Orchard Place School in Des Plaines held their McTeacher's Night Fundraiser at the McDonald's in Rosemont on River Road

On Thursday, May 21st, Orchard Place School held a McTeacher’s Night Fundraiser at the McDonald’s in Rosemont on River Rd.  Teachers took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families to raise money for their school.  The McTeacher jobs included; drive-thru teachers, greeters, cleaning the lobby, drink teachers, clearing tables, and serving ice cream.  There were even teachers singing for tips and selling pies.  Orchard Place McTeachers had it all covered and the families all had a great time.  The school plans to use the money raised to go into the PTO fund to support future programming.  Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out to support Orchard Place School.  All the kids came to see their teachers work at the Rosemont McDonald’s.  A special appearance by Ronald McDonald made this a very memorable evening.  Special thank you goes to PTO President, Mae Pasamba, who organized the entire event.  It was a great night!  McTeacher’s Night was courtesy of the Rosemont McDonald’s owner/operator, Dennis Stabile.  For more information about events provided by the Rosemont McDonald’s contact their Community Relations Director, Julie.travers @Comcast.
