New Magical Girl Anime Announced: Seizei Gambare Mahou Shoujo Kurumi
New anime film entitled Seizei Gambare Mahou Shoujo Kurumi
It’s finally confirmed that we are getting a new magical girl anime film! An official site produced by Abema TV has announced that an original anime will be launched via its streaming online in summer of 2017. It is entitled Seizei Gambare Mahou Shoujo Kurumi, or “Do Your Best Magical Girl Kurumi”. Compare to other magical girl series, this anime film features the 3 main characters who don’t do anything but watch.
The new magical girl anime will be an online stream and will start in summer. It includes the story of 3 boys namely Kiyoshi Suzuki, Isamu Takahashi, and Shigeru Satou who all observe their classmate Kurumi Azuchimomoyama transformed into a magical girl as Prima Angel. While Kurumi fights the Darkness Whales organization, the 3 characters don’t do anything but watch Kurumi all the way.
Pie in the sky will be releasing the animation for online streaming. The director of the film is Keisuke Matsumoto.

Plot
A 14-year-old named Kurumi Azuchimomoyama who is attending the Egaogaoka Junior High School was chosen to become one of the Bishoujo Mahou Shoujo Kyouryuu Tenshi Senshi (Pretty Magic Girl Dragon Angel Warrior) "Prima Angel” to battle against Ankoku Hoem. She was selected by Tasmania Devil type angel "Devi-run". Kurumi fights the evil by using a special weapon that effectively destroys the opponent slowly. There are 3 guys involved in the anime who are also the main characters continuously observe her as she fights without them offering any help.
The cast includes:
- Yuu Hayashi as Kiyoshi Suzuki
- Wataru Hatano as Isamu Takahashi
- Takuma Terashima as Shigeru Satō
- Yurika Kubo as Kurumi Azuchimomoyama/Prima Angel
- Seki Futoshi (Time Machine 3-gō comedy duo) as Ankoku Dai-Myōjin
About the Movie
Seizei Gambare Mahou Shoujo Kurumi anime is directed and composed by Keisuke Matsumoto. The characters are designed by Wataru Uekusa and animated by Pie in the Sky. The anime series will be launched on Abema TV, a Japanese online streaming website, starting in 2017 summer season.
