Note-Passing Man Tries To Rob Rivers Casino

A man who entered the Rivers Casino in Des Plaines asked for "all the money" in a note to a cashier.

DES PLAINES, IL - A man who attempted to rob a cashier at Rivers Casino in Des Plaines last week is being sought by Illinois State Police, who released images of the suspect caught on camera at 6:45 a.m. on Nov. 22.

Police say the man in three surveillance images shown below entered the casino and handed a note to the cashier that stated "Give me all the money." No currency was exchanged in the unsuccessful robbery, police said.

The suspect is a black man with a mustache and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a gray parka jacket with a hood, blue shirt, gray pants, black skull cap, and dark colored gym shoes with a white swoosh.
