Oakton to host June 1 hiring event
More than 60 local and national employers with immediate openings will be at Oakton Community College for a hiring event on June 1.

Oakton Community College is joining with U.S. Representatives Brad Schneider and Jan Schakowsky, National Able Network and the Illinois Department of Employment Security for a hiring event 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thursday, June 1, at the college’s TenHoeve Center, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines. The free event is open to the public, and early entry for veterans begins at 9:30 a.m.
The hiring event will feature more than 60 local and national employers with immediate openings. The following businesses seeking to immediately fill positions are scheduled to participate:
