Boys and girls from kindergarten through high school freshmen can hone their basketball skills by enrolling in a summer camp at Oakton.

Boys and girls from kindergarten through high school freshmen can hoop it up before going back to school by attending the Oakton Community College basketball camp from Monday, Aug. 6, through Thursday, Aug. 9, at the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road.
The four-day camp is coached by Oakton’s experienced athletic staff and student-athletes and includes two sessions:

- Fifth through ninth-grade students, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Gain hands-on experience in advanced skill work, including game shooting, off-the-dribble offense and instructional game play.
All participants receive a camp T-shirt. Proceeds support Oakton’s basketball program. The fee is $50 per participant.
