Oakton's Campus Closed Fifth Straight Day
The Des Plaines campus will be closed Thursday due to flooded roads.
DES PLAINES, IL — The continued closure of Gold and Central roads has forced Oakton Community College's Des Plaines campus at 1600 E. Golf Rd. to remain closed for a fifth straight day Thursday.
According to an announcement from the school, the Skokie campus will remain open and continuing education high school classes will meet at open schools.
Oakton's Des Plaines campus has been closed since Monday. The campus will be closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday for regular summer hours.
