Muslim from Chicago Suburbs holding their Prophet Muhammad's birthday celebrations on the evening of Sunday, December 31st, 2017. Program starts at around 8 p.m. after Isha Prayers. The program includes Speeches, Seminar, Recitation of Quran and special prayers. Attendees Perform are very spiritual praise to God and praise to Prophet Muhammad. Members of the community from Noor un Nabi Foundation worked with great zeal and enthusiasm to organize this celebration.
The Birthday of Prophet Muhammad, also known as Mawlid. Mawlid is celebrated on the 12th day of the third month of the Islamic calendar, called Rabi’al-Awwal. The Prophet is revered by Muslims as the final messenger sent by God to spread the Abrahamic faith to the world.
The Program Prophet Muhammad's birthday (Eid Milad un Nabi) was celebrated in the Islamic Center of Schaumburg by a large number of Chicago residents. The Organizer and host of the program was Syed Deedar Ali Shah. He is a Well-known social worker in Chicagoland area. The Program was started with Recitation Quran by the spiritual leader of the mosque, Imam Mohammed Waheed Ullah Khan followed by a presentation of Naat-e-Rasool Maqbool (poems in praise to the prophet Muhammad) by Ahmed Abdul Karim Jangra, Syed Abdan Ullah, Kamran Hussain, Abid Rasheed, Hammad Baig, Umer Jangra and Deedar Ali Shah.

In the middle of the program they also have an Ameen ceremony. Ameen ceremony is a kind of graduation ceremony when the Child finishes Quran for the first time and they celebrate. A Nine year old child Syed Abdan Ullah finished Quran for the first time. He recites some verses of Quran with very sweet Voice in front of an audience and Chief Guest Hazrat Allama Syed Shah Abdul Haq Qadri. Chief Guest Performed Special Prayer for him.

The Keynote Speaker was Allama Syed Shah Abdul Haq said in his Speech “We celebrate the birth of our great prophet, we enjoin us to be peaceful. We believe that our religion, Islam is a faith that has always existed”.
The program was attended by prominent community members, scholars, men, women and children who showed their devotion by “Nara-e-Takbeer”, “Naara-e-Risalat” and Darood. Roughly more than 150 peoples attended.
The celebrations and program ended with a beautiful prayer by Allama Syed Shah Abdul Haq of Milpitas followed by the Durood-o-Salaam (Blessings and Salutations) by Deedar Ali Shah upon our Beloved Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him). A sumptuous dinner was served for all.
