Report: Des Plaines Evaluating Vehicle Sticker Program
Des Plaines considering changes to vehicle sticker program.

Des Plaines is considering changes to, or possibly the elimination of, its vehicle sticker requirements, the Chicago Tribune reported.
Vehicle stickers generated about $1.2 million in revenue and city officials want to look at how cost-effective the program is given the administrative costs that go into. The newspaper also reported that the city also is considering streamlining the program which now includes 15 types of sticker fees and various categories for late fees.
