River Grove McDonald's brings families together

The owner of the McDonald's restaurant located in River Grove did just that. Owner, Dennis Stabile, opened the doors, on Saturday, December 15th, to the newly renovated restaurant, located on Grand Ave., for children and their families to enjoy a complimentary balloon and face painting event by Rosie the Elf.

Kids were thrilled to choose from various designs provided by Rosie. Many River Grove kids left the restaurant on Saturday with smiles glued to their faces and balloons in hand.

This courtesy event was all part of the River Grove McDonald's Grand Re-Opening festivities.

The restaurant features state-of-the-art technology upgrades, that include a full-service self-order Kiosk, table service, and of course Mobile Order & Pay and McDelivery available on Uber Eats. The technology upgrades, a part of the McDonald's Corporation mobile platform expansion, enable McDonald’s to "evolve with customers".

"We've introduced many options for a more efficient and personal experience," Stabile said.

"Customers can order by mobile app, they can visit curbside and we'll run it out, as well as the existing traditional ways. They can pay in different ways and customize their food options in different ways. We've added more choice and variety to keep up with the growing changes and demands."

Dennis Stabile thanked the community for all their support during the renovations and the Grand Re-Opening events.

"We are so proud to have this beautiful restaurant on Grand Ave., and proud to be a part of the growing River Grove community."
