Scott Michael Kozicki for Cook County Circuit Court Judge in the 11th Judicial Subcircuit

As the Democratic primary approaches on March 18, 2014, the voters should know about a candidate for Circuit Court Judge in the 11th Judicial Subcircuit, Scott Michael Kozicki.  Scott is a dedicated and diligent lawyer and he will make an even better judge.

Scott has the significant courtroom experience that is necessary to serve effectively as a Judge.  He has served in the Law Office of the Cook County Public Defender in the Forensic Science Division, the Appellate Division, and the Juvenile Justice Division. Scott is in our courtrooms on a daily basis and I have witnessed firsthand the brilliant legal mind that Scott possesses.  He is also a respected lecturer and teacher of trial advocacy and evidence on a local and national level.

Scott is patient and respectful, and his demeanor is beyond reproach.  Notably, the Chicago Bar Association (CBA) Judicial Evaluation Committee recognized him for his “outstanding demeanor.”

Every bar association that evaluated and interviewed him found Scott Qualified or Recommended. The CBA further noted: “Mr. Kozicki has considerable trial and appellate experience and is well regarded for his knowledge of the law, [and] integrity . . .”

Scott is an active member of the Oak Park community where he lives with his wife and two daughters. He graduated from Fenwick High School, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and DePaul University College of Law.
