Serial Suburban Bank Robber Strikes Rosemont Fifth Third
FBI: The same robber has quietly robbed four banks in the past seven months, most recently wearing makeup.

ROSEMONT, IL — The same man suspected of robbing three other suburban banks so far this year has struck again, this time wearing makeup. The FBI said the man started his spree in west suburban Woodridge in January and subsequently robbed three more banks in the northwest suburbs, first in Elgin, then Buffalo Grove, before targeting Rosemont this weekend.
His most recent robbery was reported Saturday around 1:50 p.m. at the Fifth Third Bank, 7150 Mannheim Rd., according to the FBI. Witnesses said he was wearing foundation makeup on his face.
The robber was described as a white man appearing to be 25-35 years old, between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet 1 inch tall with a thin build. Each of the bank robberies the FBI attributes to this suspect occurred in the afternoon and each has been a non-takeover robbery, meaning only the teller is aware the robbery is taking place.
