The St. Raymond School Community Joins Teachers for a Fun Night
Saint Raymond School students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts
Mt. Prospect|Saint Raymond School students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts.
Twenty teachers and support staff from Saint Raymond School volunteered behind the counter on Wednesday, February 19th at the Mt. Prospect McDonald's located on Rand Rd., where they served students and their families in their annual fundraiser.
Teachers Margaret Puszka, Darlene Mack, and Joyce Gartz enjoyed the duty of wearing an apple pie costume encouraging students to purchase a delicious apple pie while teachers tended the front counter, served ice cream, and assisted in table service delivering delicious food to families. "I really enjoyed being a part of this fundraiser. It's great to be a part of this community and seeing all the families in a different environment," said St. Raymond Preschool educator Joyce Gartz.

The proceeds from the 200 apple pies sold will help support the Saint Raymond FSA. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the McTeacher's Night sales were donated directly to the Saint Raymond FSA. Fundraising chairs Joanna Schramm and Adrienne Nudo organized the event and were quoted saying "Thank you to David Bear for allowing St. Raymond to continue this great fundraiser for our students and families! Everyone had a great time!"
David Bear, Owner/Operator of the Mt. Prospect McDonald's and the Bear Family were delighted to participate in the worthy cause for education and community.
