Suzy's place Foundation hosts Annual Golf Tournament 2021.

Suzy's Place held its third Golf Outing Tournament and award ceremony held on Wednesday, September 29th, 2021 at Glendale Lakes Golf Club

Since COVID-19 pandemic start, thousands of Americans lost jobs and staying home, according to the Independent survey, the rate of Domestic abuse is getting higher and higher day by day in Chicago and across the nation. Basically, The Pandemic Changed Americans Women’s Live. Covid-19 pandemic forced millions of Americans to switch to remote work including women workers.

Suzy's place - Hope, Empowering Women is a non-profit organization that has served the Chicago area for over 5 years. Suzy's Place held its third Golf Outing Tournament and award ceremony held on Wednesday, September 29th, 2021 at Glendale Lakes Golf Club in Glendale Heights, Illinois. The record number of golfers signed up to participate in the annual event.

"We are thrilled and bless to have sold out of tickets this year for our Suzy golf outing Tournament," said Chaudhary Munir Akhter. Chair of the Tournament.

Suzy's place - Hope, Empowering Women Shelter Center for Domestic Violence Services is an absolute 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization committed to preventing domestic violence, protecting victims and promoting positive change for families in need in Chicago and its suburbs. The Program was emceed by Nafees Rahman. The event was attended by esteemed government officials, including Secretary of State Jesse White, Consul General of Pakistan, Mr. Tariq Karim, Glendale Heights Village President Chodri Ma Khokhar and several others.

The event starts with Jesse White's Tumbler Team and their wonderful acrobatic jump performance.

Secretary of State Jesse White was the keynote Speaker, during his Speech. He recognized Suzy's place excellent work in Chicagoland Community.

Shahida Khan, President and CEO of Suzy's place - Hope Empowering Women, welcomed all the audience. In opening remarks Shahida Khan highlighted about Suzy Place, she said, "We are providing shelter for adults and children, counseling, advocacy, and a 24-hour hotline for people affected by domestic violence, life skills training, and prevention education to women and children who are the victims of domestic violence in Chicagoland."

Suzy's Place provides emergency and transitional housing and immediate, comprehensive shelter services to domestic violence women survivors in the Rogers Park area on Devon Avenue, Chicago. Suzy's Place seeks to increase the supply of affordable housing in Chicagoland for life skills training, and prevention education to women. Suzy's place - Hope Empowering Women presented awards to Golf Tournament Winner and volunteers for exceptional service to the Hard work with the organization and community. Nazeer Chaudry, Anis Ahmed and Balwinder Singh also got the tournament championship trophy. In the beginning 90 golfers participated in the golf tournament.

Well known Businessman Munir Chaudry came to the stage and spoke about the great potential of Suzy's place - Hope Empowering Women. After the Program and Award ceremony completed lunch was served which was catered through a local restaurant. Suzy's place - Hope Empowering Women raised several thousand dollars for upcoming new awareness programs.

The Chicago community hopes Suzy's place – Hope, Empowering Women will continue to grow and provide more programs and support to those in need, so that vision of living in Chicago and its suburbs free from domestic abuse.
