Teen Mother, Toddler Found Safe: Sheriff
Katherine Lujano, 17, and her 18-month-old son have been found safe.

DES PLAINES, IL – UPDATE: Both Katherine Lujano and her 18-month-old son Eric Manriquez have been found safe.
ORIGINAL STORY: A teenage girl and her toddler son have been reported missing from unincorporated Des Plaines, police said. The Cook County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public’s help in locating 17-year-old Katherine Lujano and 18-month-old Eric Manriquez.
Police said the two were last seen at 4 p.m. March 2. Lujano had left a note saying she was running away, and her son is believed to be with her.

Lujano is described as Hispanic, 4’11" tall, approximately 160 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. She has a nose piercing on her left nostril. Police said she was last seen wearing black leggings and a gray hooded Hollister sweatshirt with white lettering. Manriquez is about 2 feet tall and weighs about 24 pounds.
