DOWNERS GROVE, IL — For the past five years, Loyal Order of Moose, Downers Grove Lodge 1535 has brought classic cars and hot rods to downtown Downers Grove. The popular event has been canceled for 2026, according to an announcement from the lodge.
The announcement reads,
"We have enjoyed sponsoring this event for the last 5 years. Thank you to all that have supported and participated in cruise nights. Please continue to support all the not-for-profit groups that have been showcased during cruise nights."
The Moose Lodge debuted this cruise night format in 2021 with a few shows and then went all in with weekly shows stariang in 2022.
The Friday night events, which took place at Downers Grove Lodge 1535, usually kicked off in June and lasted through August. Themed nights, concessions and live music added to the fun.
Though Moose Cruise Nights were free, a $10 suggested donation for participating cars went to the cause of supporting local charities.
