DOWNERS GROVE, IL — After more than 40 years in Chicago, Ranalli's will make its official foray into the city's suburbs this fall, according to a post on the restaurant's Instagram page.
The pizzeria will make its home at 5200 Main St. in Downers Grove, in the building that once housed Emmett's Brewing Company.
The menu at Ranalli's offers tavern-style thin crust pizzas and pan pizzas with traditional and specialty pies available. Their specialty pizzas include a hot honey soppressata with roasted tomatoes and whipped ricotta, and a spicy pizza that's jazzed up with habanero chicken, spicy Hungarian peppers and jalapenos.
Vegetarian and gluten-free options are also available.
Ranalli's is owned by Four Corners Group, which also runs Gaslight in Chicago, Benchmark and Federales Tequila & Tacos in Chicago.
This will be the third Ranalli's location for Four Corners Group, along with the pizzerias in Lincoln Park and Chicago's Loop.
