DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Two drivers were hurt in a three-car crash in which a box truck hit a home in the 2400 block of Maple Avenue in unincorporated Downers Grove Thursday afternoon.
Darien-Woodridge Fire Protection District Fire Chief Jimmy Lahanis told Patch the driver of the box truck had to be extricated because of a medical emergency.
He and the other injured driver, who sustained minor injuries were taken to a nearby hospital.
Lahanis said no one was home at the time of the crash.
