Petition packets are now for pickup for candidates who are seeking nomination to run for a seat on the Downers Grove Park District Board of Commissioners.
Three seats are available, each with a four-year term, in the election, which is set for April 6, 2027.
Interested parties can pickup up their packets Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Downers Grove Park District Administrative Office, 2455 Warrenville Rd.
Candidates can start gathering signatures as of Aug. 25. The nomination packets can be filed between Nov. 16 and Nov. 23.
