DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The Downers Grove Village Council will review a rezoning proposal Tuesday for the construction of a 173,000 square foot industrial building with loading docks at 2500 Warrenville Rd.
Petitioners Midwest RE Acquisitions LLC plans to raze the current building, along with the loading and parking facilities that occupy the 7.88-acre site.
The site is currently zoned as M-1, light manufacturing. Petitioners are requesting the site be rezoned to O-R-M, office, researrch and manufacturing.
According to village documents, plans for the site include a 173,000 square foot building with truck docks and 116 parking spaces.
Possible tenants for the building include distribution companies, warehouse firms, manufacturers and food processors, per village documents, though no tenant had been specified at press time.
