Owner To Reopen Everest Asian Fusion As Crab King Cajun Boil & Bar In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — After roughly six months in Downers Grove, Everest Asian Fusion will close to make way for a different concept with the same owner.

Crab King Cajun Boil & Bar is projected to open sometime in October. Patch has learned the 1550 75th Street Crab King location will be owned by Wei Zheng, who opened Everest Asian Fusion and also owns a Crab King in Oak Lawn.

The menu at Crab King features king and snow crab legs, lobster tails, shrimp, mussels, clams, scallops, crawfish and other seafood options.

Fried calamari, tilapia, catfish crab legs, oysters and shrimp are also available.

The Oak Lawn restaurant offers signature cocktails, deep-fried Oreos and beignets.
