• East St. Louis woman faces 11 charges after child abuse report (kmov.com) — East St. Louis police arrested a 30-year-old woman after child welfare officials reported alleged abuse of three children at a local home, leading to 11 separate charges. Officers, responding Friday evening with DCFS, found the children upstairs, one with visible injuries, and placed them in protective custody while the investigation continues and more charges remain possible.
