$1M Lottery Ticket Sold In Elgin
Anyone who purchased a ticket at the Circle K, 460 S. McLean Boulevard in Elgin, is urged to check it.
ELGIN, IL — One lucky Illinois lottery player is $1 million richer.
Illinois Lottery officials say a winning Mega Millions ticket was sold at a Circle K, 460 S. McLean Boulevard in Elgin. The ticket matched all five numbers in an April 14 drawing: 23-27-41-48-51.
The prize for the winning ticket is is $1 million, and the winner, who has not yet publicly come forward, is urged to write their name on the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they're ready to come forward and claim their prize, according to a news release from the Illinois Lottery.

The $476 million Mega Millions jackpot was won on Friday evening by a ticket purchased in New York. So far this year, three million-dollar Mega Millions tickets have been sold in Illinois, including an unclaimed prize purchased at a 7-Eleven in Evanston in January.
