
BARTLETT, IL -- Two men are dead following a five-vehicle collision that occurred Tuesday morning in Bartlett, according to authorities. The crash happened at 5:50 a.m. at Stearns and Munger roads when a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt heading west on Stearns veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a 2015 Altima and a 2012 Land Rover, the Daily Herad reports. The impact from the collision resulted in debris, which struck two other vehicles at the intersection.
The driver of the Altima, Christopher Arbeen, 40, of South Elgin, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the article. And a passenger in the Chevrolet, Miguel A. Flores, 23, of West Chicago, was taken to St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates where he was pronounced dead just before 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the 45-year-old driver of the Land Rover, the 23-year-old driver of the Cobalt and the 20-year-old driver of a Chevrolet Camaro, which was struck by debris, were taken to Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield with injuries that are not considered life-threatening, according to the report.

No charges have been filed in connection with the crash and the accident remains under investigation.
